Problem and its background
In this 21st century crowd, in a high-speed lifestyle and society, you cannot show a single individual who can confidently say, “I don’t have any problem”. Even though when asked by someone, to show with a positive attitude we confidently tend to say the following: “No complains”, “I got no problem”, “No problem” and so on and so forth even though inside we are crushed with tons of pressure from different kind of problems.
Well, it is good or bad to have a problem? To understand that, let’s define what a ‘problem’ actually is. The word problem came from ancient Greek word ‘problema’ which came from ‘proballein’ which means according to Wiktionary - ‘to throw or lay something in front of someone, to put forward’. According to Wikipedia - ‘ A problem is an obstacle which makes it difficult to achieve a desired goal, objective or purpose. It refers to a situation, condition, or issue that is yet unresolved. In a broad sense, a problem exists when an individual becomes aware of a significant difference between what actually is and what is desired.’
Now, I will get to the details. The most interesting part is ‘problem’ do not pose to be a problem if you do not understand or agree that there is a problem. Only then problem will require a solution. Some of the problems are inflicted on you by external forces, which means it could be arising from an individual, a group of people, a societal conflict or a situation which could be environmental, political, etc. but not limited to any of these. On the other hand some problems are inflicted on you by yourself. Interesting, isn’t it? It’s a human nature to blame on something for any problem we face, which not necessarily is a bad thing to do, but because we end to do this action with full of passion, we often tend to misjudge. Therefore, it tends to land up in a wrong path of solution.
